Baseball season kicks off this month, meaning our Point of Sale system is busy processing transactions in stadiums around the country. Appetize’s full POS product suite is powering the busiest season in sports, which includes self-service kiosks, handheld devices, POS terminals, mobile ordering, Kitchen Display Systems and backend analytics and inventory reporting. With 50% of major league baseball stadiums trusting Appetize, we wanted to highlight where you can see our solution and why they turned to Appetize:

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum – Oakland A’s

The Oakland A’s switched to Appetize prior to the 2019-2020 season for cloud-based solution to optimize both their front-of-house and back-of-house experience, as well as their suite holders experience. Over 335 devices are installed throughout the ballpark in their concession stands, portable carts, and suites. The ballpark also uses Interact Suites, Appetize’s web-based portal that optimizes and streamlines the suiteholder’s ordering experience.

Yankee Stadium – Yankees

Yankee Stadium utilizes Appetize’s full technology stack, powering all its POS terminals, server ordering tablets, and VIP in-seat ordering platforms. The stadium has over 400 fixed and portable devices for concession orders. In addition, the ballpark has handheld devices for in-seat ordering and line-busting capabilities.

Target Field – Minnesota Twins

Target Field has 515 POS devices installed to improve transaction speed and provide flexibility to venue operators. The ballpark installed terminals that include Customer Facing Displays to ensure order accuracy and earn additional revenue through sponsorship opportunities. In addition, the venue has All-in-One POS terminals for their portable carts, POS terminals in their club areas, and Interact Suites to simplify both pre-event and in-suite ordering.
